What To Do After A Special Meeting 3

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16

Looking back at the Christ Life Camp 2023, it was most definitely a time of rejuvenation for you; a time of direction, where God revealed steps to take and what your 2024 would be like. You received deposits in the spirit and mantles for your generation. Christ Life Camp was all that and more for you. Wasn’t it?

But do you know that after such an explosive and life-altering experience, it is possible to forget? It is possible that activities and other happenings in life can take your mind off of all the words and instructions you received for 2024.

After such an preparation at CLC, do you want to find yourself slipping and lagging behind as the year progresses? Fortunately, there is something we can do to avoid this occurrence.

Today, we would be learning how to bring to our remembrance all we received after a special meeting.

James 1:23-24

New King James Version

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

This scripture likens a man who forgets his appearance to someone who hears the Word and doesn’t do it.‬ ‭After all the words, corrections, admonitions and instructions you have received at the camp meeting, if you do not walk in them and do them, you would be like this man.

2024 would be a directionless year for you; not because God has not directed you, but because you have forgotten his directions. You have forgotten the steps you ought to take and the timing at which He said you should take them. It would be a year where the devil attacks and taunts your faith because you have forgotten the realities of who you are in Christ: that you carry the indwelling presence of God and you can fan to flames the manifest presence as you stir up yourself in the Holy Ghost!

Such immense power to fill the devil with trepidation is at your disposal but it would remain unused if you don’t take time to remind yourself of it!

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16

New King James Version

14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

In these verses from Apostle Paul’s letter to Timothy, he instructs him to meditate on all he had received, to give himself entirely to it. This is what we should do too; not neglecting all we have received.

Now, how can we bring to our remembrance all we have received?

  1. ‭‭Re-live the meeting

You cannot forget about a moment or event if you keep cues around that take your mind back to that event and keep going back to watch it.

You can do this by:

a. Setting out times through the year to re-stream the meetings.

b. Having clips from the impartation service to remind you of all you received,

c. Sourcing and keeping pictures of you from the camp meetings taken by the media team.

To keep the fire burning, it is important you go back to recollect. It is necessary to go back to those moments in the meeting and receive all that was deposited and spoken over you again and again. So ensure you set structures to restream the camp meeting at least thrice throughout the year.

  1. Write things down

Writing down and documenting prophecies and what we have received would go a long way. It is so easy to rejoice and receive at meetings but if you do not write things you have received down during or after the meeting, they would easily be forgotten.

And it is also a good reference at the end of the year to review prophecies and miracles you have seen come to pass as time goes on and be grateful to God!

  1. Praying over all you received

Like our pastor always says, prayer is the only way to sustain and stir up all you received. You would be able to do nothing with all you received if you don’t pray.

2 Timothy 1:6

New King James Version

6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.‭‬‬

Here, Apostle Paul tells Timothy to stir up all he received. And, how do we stir up? By praying over all we’ve received. And this begins now.

Prayer Point:

As I pray now, I remind myself of all I received and learnt. I set structures that causes me to bring to remembrance. I stir up all that has been deposited in me right now.
