The presence of God is context specific. It can either be the omnipresence of God, the indwelling presence of God or the manifest presence of God. 

A reputation used to understand the omnipresence of God is El-Roi, the God who sees. He sees both the good and the bad, He sees beyond our actions and face, He sees our hearts. 

Mankind was created for fellowship and communion with God and best functions in the presence of God.
