What To Do After a Special Meeting: Preparing for Christ Life Lagos
Mark 5:25-28
It sounds amazing right? Well, that’s what God is set to do for you at Christ Life Camp (CLC) Lagos!
It is discernible that we had life-changing experiences at the CLC Windsor; graces were imparted, anointing for greater works was released, spiritual giftings were stirred up and the unknown met clarity. It was such a stirring and impactful meeting. Nobody should go to rest after attending a meeting like Christ Life Camp.
We have discussed some things to do after a spiritual meeting this week. Things like consistent, fervent prayer to keep the fire burning, revisiting words, instructions, and experiences from the meeting, and acting on them.
But, although one meeting has been concluded, the journey doesn’t end there. Christ Life Camp is a two-part meeting- the first edition of which was at Windsor, Canada and the second would be held in Lagos, Nigeria and God’s agenda for your life would continue there. The same God who began this work in you intends to continue and bring it to an even greater completion.
Hence, in this period, you are not only to steward what you have received at Christ Life Camp Windsor but also to build heightened sensitivity for more that is to come at Christ Life Camp Lagos because God is ready for you.
Genesis 28:16-17
New King James Version
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”
17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
This text communicates something very important about sensitivity and expectations.
In this text, we see that Jacob almost missed an encounter with God because he was not sensitive enough to know that God was there. He said, “The Lord is in this place and I didn’t know it”. May that never be said of you!
Unlike Jacob, you are not unaware that God called Christ Life Camp Lagos for you. And so, you cannot afford to be like Jacob because you’ve seen first-hand what God is set to do; you have seen what he did at Christ Life Camp Windsor.
God has shown what he can do in an atmosphere of people who are ready to receive from him, your only and best response is to be sensitive and ready for all the Lord is set to do in the city of Lagos.
As you prepare for the second part of the camp meeting in Lagos, it’s essential to be sensitive because God is continuing the work He began with you at the first meeting. There is so much more He is going to do!
The graces and anointings imparted to you at the first part of the meeting will not only remain but will be multiplied. You will see even greater manifestations of God’s power in your life.
Be sensitive to the fact that God is building on the impartations you received; at the first edition, He began a work in you and you must trust that He is attending to unmet needs that were raised at the meeting.
Sensitivity in the spirit allows us to maintain an acute awareness of the spiritual deposit we’ve received and positions us to engage with God’s ongoing work in our lives. Yes, it is an ongoing work.
The Bible tells of someone whose sensitivity and expectations were through the roof in:
Mark 5:25-28
New King James Version
25 “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Through this woman’s words, we can discern hunger, hope, and trust in God. She had gone around for years and hadn’t gotten better but she had so much faith in Jesus and believed that just a little touch would heal her.
Can you come to CLC with such faith?
Such unwavering expectation?
Such hunger and solid trust in God and his abilities?
If you prayed for a healing that has not yet been perfected, this is not the time to throw your faith away. You must be actively sensitive to the workings of God.
If you prayed about something you haven’t received yet, do not think that the request passed away with the Windsor Camp meeting because the meeting might have ended but God’s work as a result of the meeting is continual, and much more will happen in Lagos.
Just like the woman in the text above, sensitivity enables one to discern these ongoing divine dealings and respond with faith, patience, and obedience. Being sensitive involves holding the impartation from his sent men in high esteem and expecting that He will continue to fulfil His plans for you through them.
This is not the time to let your expectations and hunger dwindle. Be expectant, because I can assure you that God is set to do even greater things at Christ Life Camp, Lagos.
Stay sensitive, stay prayerful, and come with an expectant heart, knowing that God has only just begun with you and He has much more in store for you!
Prayer Point
As I pray now, my sensitivity is heightened. I set my heart in place to receive more at CLC Lagos.
