Imagine a campfire that is burning brightly. Now think, how does it stay that way? If you walk away and leave it unattended, what would happen to the fire after a while? It would slowly burn out, leaving only cold ashes behind.

For the campfire to be kept burning, it needs to be sustained and nurtured. Someone has to steward it; must fan the flames, add wood, and protect it from the wind.

In the same way, there’s a responsibility to steward all that you receive after a special meeting.

It is wonderful to know and recognize that you had encounters with God at CLC’24, Windsor Edition; graces were multiplied, you received instructions, words of knowledge, and prophecies, and your life was transformed through the impartation of mantles and graces. These are important but here’s something equally as important: it doesn’t end there.

There is what to do with everything you’ve received because it won’t matter what you received if you don’t learn to sustain it in the place of prayer.

II Timothy 1:6
New King James Version

6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Apostle Paul tells Timothy something we need to learn and take note of to stir up the gifts he received by the laying on of hands. We can tell from this verse of scripture how important the early church took impartation and what we should do with what we have received. Stir it up!

It won’t matter what you’ve received if you don’t learn to make use of all that was deposited on your inside. And how do we stir it up? By praying over all we’ve received.

There’s a tendency to overcompensate after special meetings, thinking you’ve done enough. But you have to realize that this is not the time to sit back and relax. You need to remain alert. You must ensure to continue in the place of prayer, stirring up what you’ve received as this is the only way to remind yourself of them and the way they can birth results in your life.

And, this is so important and profound because the apostle Paul charged his disciple, Timothy, to do the same in scripture.

I Timothy 1:18
New King James Version

18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,

God has given you prophecies but you can’t just jot them down and expect them to happen on their own accord. No. You run with prophecies, praying over them continually so that you align yourself with God’s will and see them fulfilled in your life.

Acts 13:2-3
New King James Version

2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.

Notice something in this text, when the disciples received instructions for Saul and Barnabas, they didn’t just send them away. They spent time praying! So, there is precedence in the scriptures for continual prayer over everything you receive during special meetings. This cannot be overemphasized!

Never get too busy that you forget what you’ve received at the camp meeting.

Never be so carried away that the cares of the world drown out the graces, mantles, and instruction you’ve received. The devil may try to make you forget but don’t give in to his ploy to keep you from walking in what God has for you.

And the only way to do this is to set structures to go over what you received and review them.

As you go through the year, have times of prayer dedicated to praying over those words of knowledge, graces, and prophecies. Tick them off as they come to pass, and continue praying over the rest until you see them fulfilled.

As you see these things active in your life, sustain them by continually praying over them and you will see even much more!

Prayer Point
Lord Jesus, no word, no impartation, nothing I received from CLC’24 will fall to the ground. I recognize and pray over them that they are sustained, and that my life is changed forever.
