7 Days of Glory - Day 3
Exodus 13:20-22
In this season, God has begun transforming lives with His glory. We’ve seen visions, miracles and the favour of God showing up in our lives, but God is not done yet. As we continue in these 7 Days of Glory, there will be more manifestations of the glory in your life.
Exodus 13:20-22
New King James Version
20 So they took their journey from Succoth and camped in Etham at the edge of the wilderness.
21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.
22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.
Scripture says that while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, the LORD went before them in a pillar of a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. This was a manifestation of God’s glory and the force of his glory.
There is an aspect of the manifestation of the glory of God that’s the force of his glory. Some teachers have called this the zeal of the LORD but it’s also a force.
We see through scripture that when the knowledge of the glory of God is received, the force of God’s glory also sponsors that message. It backs up the message with signs and manifestations that can be seen and discerned. In this instance, this pillar was not just a guide but a manifestation of God’s glory and presence.
It led Israel through the desert for 40 years and it was a sign that God was with them every step of the way. Imagine experiencing strange coincidences, finding favour, and observing supernatural occurrences in our lives. It is still possible for us to witness the tangible manifestations of His glory through His Spirit. This is what the men of old experienced, and it is present even in our day.
Exodus 14:19-20
New King James Version
19 And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.
20 So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.
We see here that God’s glory provided both protection and guidance in this critical moment, ensuring Israel’s safe passage through the Red Sea while protecting them from their enemies.
Exodus 40:34-38
New King James Version
34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
36 Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in all their journeys.
37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up.
38 For the cloud of the LORD was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
The Israelites were people who had received several prophecies, yet in this text, they are being led by the force of the glory.
The glory of God had been journeying alongside the people, but it now found a permanent home in the temple. The Tabernacle became a vital place where God’s presence resided among His people.
This served as an enduring reminder of His companionship, guiding them through each phase of their journey as they navigated the wilderness.
1 Kings 8:10-13
New King James Version
10 And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
11 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.
12 Then Solomon spoke: “The LORD said He would dwell in the dark cloud.
13 I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever.”
Contrary to what Solomon thought, this was not where God would dwell forever. God used this to show that the glory that was with them through their journey would dwell with them. However, there is a bigger picture to see about your life, dear believer. You need to understand that the same glory that leads you also resides in you because you are the temple of God.
Joshua 3:11-13
New King James Version
11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan.
12 Now therefore, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from every tribe.
13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”
This is, yet again, another example of how the children of Israel were led by God as they crossed the Jordan.
In the manifestation of the glory of God over you, you will experience favour and strange coincidences, all confirming what God would have you do.
For every word of prophecy spoken over you, you must recognise the place of the glory and how to be led by the force of the glory. It is this force that backs up those prophecies till you see a fulfilment.
Joshua 23:14
New King James Version
14 Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
The way to ensure that prophecy does not fail in your life is that you still trust the glory of God to lead you to its fulfilment. So, prepare for supernatural leadings this year.
This is the secret to success in 2025 and for the rest of your life.
Prayer Point: Father, No word that you have spoken over my life will fall to the ground. It will accomplish all that you have sent it for. The force of your Glory begins to manifest to back up every prophecy over my life.
With love,
The Catalyst,
