Welcome to the first day of our special season of prayer and fasting titled 7 Days of Glory.

The first thing I want to tell you is that God called this meeting. He called this meeting for every member of The Catalyst Church and for everyone who follows this ministry, believes in the vision that God has given us or is associated with us one way or the other.

God brought you here for a reason and for the fact that you are reading this, the Glory of God is about to change your life. Hallelujah!

This is the first prayer call of this year, and through this meeting God is pushing us into a year of prayer. Through this meeting he is launching us into an experience of prayer. Over the next 7 days, you will experience a baptism into the spirit of prayer. Hallelujah!

And today, I want to present My Manifesto to you.

I want to tell you why you should fast with all your hearts and be separated unto God in these 7 days. I want to tell you why you should have God on your mind and incline your ears to listen to his instructions.

Why you should pray so hard in these 7 days?

Here is My Manifesto:

Exodus 19:9-11
New King James Version
9 And the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” So Moses told the words of the people to the LORD.

10 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.

11 And let them be ready for the third day.

The children of Israel were in the wilderness, and God called Moses up to Mount Sinai and told him to declare important information to the children of Israel.

And his instruction was to “let them consecrate themselves today and tomorrow”, let them wash their clothes, and let them be ready, for on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai. This is a critical instruction about how to behave when the Lord calls for a meeting.

The Glory of God is about to be manifested on Mount Sinai, and God said to tell them first to prepare.

On this first day of our fast, I’m telling you we are about to have a similar experience as they did in Sinai. Not similar in the form of a mount that cannot be touched but similar in the sense that the Glory of God is going to be manifested in our midst.

And like Moses, I am bringing the word of the Lord to you. This is why we are fasting. We are preparing ourselves for all God wants to bless us with.

He told them to wash their clothes and prepare their garments. The equivalent of washing your clothes is your preparation.

You can’t say “oh I did not plan for the prayer times”. Start planning to not miss any session. Start planning to spend more time praying personally. Create a plan for the sermons you would listen to keep your spirit charged during the day.

Start planning from now how you would separate yourself unto God and show Him that you are truly consecrated and ready for the ‘7 Days of Glory mountain experience’. Because God wants to manifest his glory in your midst in these days.

Exodus 19:14-17
New King James Version
14 So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

15 And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”

16 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

On that mountain where they met God, he gave them for the first time the Ten Commandments, the Oracles of God, the Holy Standards of God. You need to understand that through this, God was inviting them to know him, to understand his holiness, to see his glory.

And in these 7 days of Glory, God wants to reveal himself to you in a personal and tangible way. God wants to show you the fullness of his Glory that you may see it and embrace it. Hallelujah!

Just a few chapters after this chapter. In Exodus chapter 24, we see again God calls for Moses and 70 elders to the mountain.

Exodus 24:16-18
New King James Version
16 Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17 The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18 So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

God called Moses up to Him and the Bible says the Glory of God rested on that mountain for six days, and on the seventh day, God called Moses. They witnessed the sight of glory of the LORD as of a consuming fire and in the midst of this spectacular experience, Moses for 40 Days and 40 nights, saw the plans and blueprints of God.

He saw the heavenly temple and that is what he represented in the temple that was built on earth. God showed Moses his plan, his blue prints in this 40 day encounter. Ours might be 7 days but it will be 7 days that you will not leave you the same way.

And here is my charge for your spirit:

Is it possible that if we consecrate ourselves to the Lord as well for this meeting He has called, His glory can be manifested in our midst?

We would see healings, but it would not be about the healings.

We would see favour, but it would not be about the favour.

We would see miracles, but it would not be about the Miracles.

It would be about what God is doing on the earth and our role in it.

It would be specifics of the plan of God for your life.

It would be blueprints for your life to make sense.

It would be directives on how to have deeper encounters with God.

Directions for ministry and speed in your life.

Can these 7 days consecrated to God help you embrace God’s plan for your life?

Can it shift you to deeper dimensions of God’s will in your life?

Can the normal man receive the anointing of the prophet?

Can the barren begin to be fruitful?

Can the minstrels begin to release sounds from the throne room?

Can the ministers begin to be mouthpieces of the Most High God?

Can new creative expressions burst out in our midst?

Can ancient zeal be awakened in our midst?

Can we have it just like Bible days, just like the early church?

Can we see the extent of the Glory of God and embrace it, in every aspect of our lives?!

Prayer Point:

Lord Jesus, in these 7 days of Glory, open my eyes to see the blueprints and the extent of your plans for my life. Make me strong enough to embrace your will and the extent of your plans to fill this earth through me. Let your Glory radically transform me and make me Holy for your use.

With love,

The Catalyst,

Pastor Michael Ipaye.
