Last week, we went through the 7 Days of Glory where our eyes were opened to see the visions of God and how they are never small. They go beyond human limitations and call us into plans far greater than we could ever imagine. Just as God invited Abraham to step outside and to gaze at the stars in:

Genesis 15:5-6
New King James Version
5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

6 And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

This passage wasn’t just about numbering the stars; it was about opening his heart to the enormity of God’s plan—He was asking him to embrace a God-sized vision.

In this same way, during the last 7 days of Glory, God called us deeper, to step beyond what is comfortable or familiar. He invites us to dream bigger, live bolder, and align ourselves with His plans. This is not a call to mediocrity or small thinking; it’s a call to partner with Him in fulfilling His purpose on earth.

This is why when a task, vision, or instruction is given by the Lord, the last thing we want to do is sit on it for too long. We must begin to get on doing all that He has shown to us and to do this, there are a few things we must have in mind to fulfill God-sized visions

1. Simple Faith. Simple Obedience

The starting point is always simple obedience. Let’s take Noah for example, in:

Genesis 6:13-14
New King James Version

13 And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

In the background of this story, the Bible tells us how sin had spread throughout the whole world, so much so that the Lord wanted to destroy the world. So He comes to Noah and asks him to make an ark. And this might not be of much significance to us until we realize that:

I. Noah had to build a giant ark preparing for rain and flood when It had never rained on the earth before.

II. Decades passed with no sign of any rain coming to validate the building of the ark.

But every day, Noah would put wood on wood, nail it and he continued till the Bible tells us in verse 22

Genesis 6:22
New King James Version
22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

He did according to all God commanded him, he simply obeyed. This is very important because when it comes to partnering with God, the starting point is a heart ready to act on His instructions, regardless of how they might seem to others or even to our understanding at first.

When God gives a word or an instruction, our response must be simple faith simple obedience, we follow and we do what we’ve been instructed to do with simple faith and simple obedience.

2. Prepare.

To properly explain this, we would be looking at a story from the scriptures in the book of 1 Samuel

1 Samuel 16:13
New King James Version
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

The Bible tells us that David was anointed King, and it was clear because the Spirit of the Lord came upon him from that day. However, David did not become King at once, in fact, this is a conversation between him and the king of Israel at the time

1 Samuel 17:34-37
New King James Version
34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,

35 I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.

36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.”

37 Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!”

This man, David, had the anointing and had been visited by the prophet to let him know what the Lord wanted to do in His life, but before the word of the Lord would be fulfilled he faithfully served as a shepherd, musician, and warrior, which prepared him for his future role as king.

If God has given a big vision, the best way to see it come to fulfillment is not by waiting idly, but by engaging in intentional preparation. Preparation is the bridge between where we are and the fulfillment we are looking forward to, and this would require us to actively study, learn, and equip ourselves for the roles and tasks to come.

The responsibilities that have been placed in your hands would require intentional preparation. This preparation would involve prayer, study, and equipping yourself spiritually and practically for the work ahead. We stay consistently in prayer that the vision becomes clearer, that we become even bolder in all He has called us to.

If God has called you to be a voice to the nations, there are qualities and skills you must cultivate to fulfill that assignment, so we begin the process of seeing it fulfilled by getting the training we need. Start studying, start praying more, seek counsel take the internships. Equip yourself with all you need to achieve what God has said

3. Excellence

Whatever the Lord has called us to do must be carried out in a way that reflects the greatness of the One who gave the assignment. If He has called you, then you can be confident that you are backed by His glory. This divine backing ought to cause us to operate from a place of excellence, His glory should be evident in the results we produce.

This year, God has declared that we will move from His glory, and this should be reflected in how we fulfill His call. Excellence must shine through in the meticulous care, effort, and intentionality we bring to the work. We do not think on a small scale anymore and if that’s the case, then it would require a commitment to excellence.

Let it be evident in your results that this vision came from God. When you step into God-sized visions, your work should demonstrate His glory, pointing back to Him.

Matthew 5:16
New King James Version
16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

This year, as we GO, let’s hit the ground running by starting on all that the Lord has given to us to do. We have prayed, we have seen and received and it’s time to do them and to make sure that they are done with excellence. Let every task, project, and responsibility reflect the grandeur of God’s glory. Whether in the smallest details or the largest-scale endeavors, let us do everything as unto the Lord, and let His greatness be seen through our results.

Prayer Point: Father, as I go on into this day, I begin to put my hands to work. I am not only able to dream bigger and see the great visions of your plans but I do the work necessary to bring them to materialization, I let go of mediocrity or small thinking, and I give myself to the excellence the work requires.
